Greetings from Boston!
It fills me with joy to be in our vibrant city once again. School is starting and fall is beginning to take hold. Our mission to address the racial wealth gap has never been more relevant, and as we say goodbye to summer, The Impact Collective is buzzing with anticipation.
The fall and winter months promise an array of in-person gatherings, discussions, and collaborations designed to strengthen our community's bonds. Additionally, we're gearing up to welcome a fresh batch of participants in our upcoming Intensive Workshop cohorts, which are set to kick off in October.
Dive into the details below to discover all the ways you can immerse yourself, connect, and take action throughout September and the following months.
This past May, Ethan Kerr joined CLTV5 to share his insights, delving deep into the intersection of patriarchy and white male identity. The impact of Ethan's discussion with CLTV5 was so profound that we are thrilled to invite him back for all workshop alumni. Don't miss out on this special session!
This event is open to Intensive Workshop alumni.
CLTV Community Gathering
CLTV Community Gathering
Friday, October 6 @ 11 am–1 pm at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center
The Impact Collective is bringing our community of alumni, partners, friends, and team members together for an intimate early afternoon CLTV gathering. Help us kick off BECMA’s Mass Black Expo while rekindling connections and forging new relationships with others passionate about closing the racial wealth gap. Everyone from our Impact Collective community is welcome: allies, champions, workshop alumni and participants, and loved ones.
BECMA's President & CEO, Nicole Obi, and Impact Collective founder Julia Johannsen will shed light on the collaborative efforts between the two organizations and our shared goal to propel the economic prosperity of the Black community in Massachusetts. The 3-day-long Mass Black Expo will showcase the diversity, breadth, capacity, innovation, brilliance, and resilience of Black businesses and professionals across the Commonwealth.
We hope you will make the most of your visit by exploring the Mass Black Expo before and after the reception.
