Hello to the growing Impact Collective community!
This newsletter includes a very special welcome to our newest Intensive Workshop cohort, CLTV6!
We are in full swing at the Impact Collective this November. In October alone, our Intensive Workshop kicked off, four generous CLTV champions hosted house parties to introduce their networks to us, and members of our community gathered at BECMA’s Mass Black Expo, among other things.
We have found so much joy and hope in bringing together our mission-focused community, especially when so many among us are powerfully and personally affected by violence, hate, and suffering at home and abroad. Coming together, we strive to build trust, to be a support for connection, community and care, and to foster the courage to forge relationships across differences.
With love and gratitude,
Julia Johannsen
Founder of The Impact Collective

We will explore relationship dynamics through lenses of race and gender, and consider some of the implications of our partnerships and, our impact on the world.
Ethan Kerris a facilitator, coach, and educator focused on equity and inclusion. Bringing 20 years of experience, Ethan consults with medical systems, businesses, universities, and organizations, guiding leaders to align their behavior and institutions with their values. He has partnered with clients including Harvard Medical School, the Nature Conservancy, and Milton Academy, among many others. Ethan is also the co-founder ofBreaking the Mold, a national equity leadership program designed specifically for white men.
Special note: to register for this workshop, you must register two people! Workshop fee: $150 per couple. The sessions will be cumulative and attendance at both sessions is highly encouraged.

In September and October, 4 CLTV champions generously hosted 2 in-person house parties to introduce the Impact Collective to over 50 women! We had such a wonderful time gathering in person, talking about how to practice economic inclusion, and spreading the word about our intensive workshop.
Three cheers for Melissa Lyons (CLTV6), Jess Shah (CLTV1), Kathrene Bell (CLTV2), and Amy McCarthy (friend of CLTV)!
Please let Julia know if you would like to host a house party of your own to introduce your network to the Impact Collective.

CLTV Community Gathering
In October, 12 Impact Collective community members gathered together at the President’s Reception at BECMA’s Mass Black Expoto hear from Nicole Obi aboutthe diversity, breadth, capacity, innovation, brilliance, and resilience of Black businesses and professionals across Massachusetts.
It was a fantastic opportunity for our community to build relationships with other BECMA supporters and all the incredible Black business owners and entrepreneurs who exhibited at the expo.
Many sincere thanks to BECMA for inviting us to attend the President’s Reception!
